This site provides support and showcases digital literacy efforts at UNC-Chapel Hill. This literacy begins with students (both undergraduate and graduate) but will leave no member of the UNC community untouched. This literacy is about much more than learning to use the latest software. Instead, participants learn to think critically about the role of technology in our contemporary world—from questioning the ethics associated with software interfaces to protecting and managing their privacy and data to connecting and communicating with others across the globe. At Carolina we help students become critical consumers and creative producers of digital knowledge.
